KESAB Papermaking Workshops are for school and community groups of all ages. Papermaking is a fun and simple activity that focuses on recycling education.

Workshops
KESAB provides all the equipment and expertise required to run a successful papermaking workshop. All you need is water and a suitable space (wet area) and we’ll have you creating beautiful handmade paper in no time!
Given the amount of time needed for us to set up and pack up, school workshops are only available as whole-day bookings. So invite others to join in! Workshops are generally 1 lesson duration so we can run 5 or 6 sessions per day. Extra helpers are needed for Junior Primary groups.
School Workshops (whole day) $250 + GST
Community Workshops (half day) $140 + GST
Kit Hire
KESAB have a Papermaking Kit available for weekly hire. The kit contains 6 sets of equipment plus a press and instructions. All you need is:
- shredded office paper
- large tubs
- water
- used cotton fabric cut to A4 size
- newspaper for pressing
Hire Fee $50 + GST plus a Cash Deposit of $70 which will be refunded upon return of the complete kit.
